FAVORITE MUSIC TYPE / GROUP: I like a variety of music. The current favorite group is AJR.

CHILDREN / PETS?: Unofficial stepmom to 2 cats.

FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: Oregon (or anywhere on the west coast side).

HOBBIES:  Traveling, being outdoors, taking naps (naps are life), and CrossFit, obviously.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU DONE CROSSFIT AND WHAT MADE YOU TRY IT OUT? Since spring of 2014 when I was working with a personal trainer for a couple of months who had also recently gotten into the CrossFit scene.  She worked in some CrossFit programming and then brought me along to some WODs at a local box.

WHAT WERE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT CROSSFIT AT FIRST?  I am NOT going to drink the Kool-aid!  (I totally drank the Kool-aid)

DESCRIBE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT CROSSFIT AND HOW IT HAS IMPACTED YOUR LIFE:  The planning and programming is done for me.  I show up and enjoy the "suck" that is the WOD with some awesome people.

FAVORITE MUSIC/GROUPS: I like all kinds of music but my favorite is the group BLEACHERS!
KIDS/PETS: I have a daughter pretty much everyone knows, Roberta, aka Robbi, aka Baby Shark! No pets.
FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: So far my favorite vacation spot has been Denver Colorado, but I have many more places to see!
HOW LONG HAVE YOU DONE CROSSFIT AND WHAT MADE YOU TRY IT? I ve done CrossFit just over 1 year! There are many reasons I tired it. But my boss had been doing it and knew I was a gym rat and offered to have me try it with him as a drop in at his gym in Lakeville. I was impressed by how challenging it was! 
WHAT WERE YOUR FIRST THOUGHTS OF CROSSFIT? My first thoughts about CrossFit were “Why would I need to do group fitness?” Then I quickly realized that working out with people you actually build friendships with makes it much, much, more fun (and competitive)!
DESCRIBE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS OF CROSSFIT AND HOW IT HAS IMPACTED YOUR LIFE: CrossFit has positively impacted my life so much! Functional fitness will help me defy the effects of aging. Plus I’ve got to meet so many terrific people who are likeminded about the importance of fitness. I’ve made so many new friends! Best of all it’s another activity that Robbi and I can do together!
FAVORITE WORKOUT: My favorite workout is still MURPH. Partly because of it being named after a hero, and partly because I like long grinding workouts!
FAVORITE MOVEMENT: My favorite movement used to be box jumps, but I’ve fallen in love with thrusters!
