Baby Ski due December 7th! Our beloved boxer passed away last October.

Thrifting, trying new restaurants, Crossfit, Reading

HOW LONG HAVE YOU DONE CROSSFIT AND WHAT MADE YOU TRY IT OUT:
We joined our first box in March 2015. We first heard about it when paul was stationed in Louisiana (Army) and tried to do some on our own. So when we moved here we found the closest box and joined.

WHAT WERE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT CROSSFIT AT FIRST:
First thoughts were "man I'm sore, and I need to go back!" I was hooked right away.

DESCRIBE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT CROSSFIT AND HOW IT HAS IMPACTED YOUR LIFE:
My favorite thing about crossfit is how varied it is. I totally agree with Glassman when he talks about how people mostly do one type of movement at a time (leg day, core day) and how that doesn't really benefit your fitness in the long run. I have been an athlete since I was 10, but crossfit has pushed my body to places I had never experienced as a figure skater and gym rat.

FAVORITE WORKOUT:
Well, since I'm pregnant now I'm liking EMOMS, but I also really love Olympic lifts.

FAVORITE MOVEMENT:
Back-squat, HSPU

HOW LONG HAVE YOU DONE CROSSFIT AND WHAT MADE YOU TRY IT OUT ?
I first tried CrossFit awhile back when I was in the Army. I always thought the concept was really intriguing from the main site. In March 2015, I joined my first gym.

WHAT WERE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT CROSSFIT AT FIRST
I was excited and nervous to join a gym. Then I got hooked.

DESCRIBE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT CROSSFIT AND HOW IT HAS IMPACTED YOUR LIFE:
My favorite things about CrossFit are: the constantly varied functional movements, physical and mental challenges, community, competition, accountability, and programmed workouts. CrossFit has improved my overall fitness. It has transformed my perspective on fitness and I really enjoy working out now.

FAVORITE WORKOUT:
Everything.

FAVORITE MOVEMENT:
Double-unders.
