This program is meant for people who want to start regular Crossfit classes. It's the first 3 weeks of a new membership. While taking Barbell 101, you can also attend MetCon classes (no barbell work) to fulfill the remaining weekly classes based on the membership type you choose (3/weekly or Unlimited).
Barbell 101 is an introduction to the barbell work: weight training and olympic lifting and transitions you into regular Crossfit classes. Also covered are the signature crossfit moves; such as burpees, box jumps, and wall balls. Each class includes a short workout as well. The Barbell 101 is a progressive program for training, so it's important to attend every class in order to transition smoothly into regular Crossfit. Classes are Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 10:30am for 2 weeks and each session is cyclical, so if you missed the start of the last one, another will be starting soon!
